Parish arrangements during the Corona Virus pandemic

Good news from Fr Rose, who has been asked by the Bishop to open our church. Mass will be available from Friday 10th July 2020. Extra Masses will be held for the time being on Saturdays at 12:00 noon, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm and on Sundays at 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Please arrive early to go through the steps we need to take.

The following PDF explains the Risk Assessment procedures that will need to be followed when people come to church.

Volunteers please note. There is to be a meeting at Stella at 6:00 pm on Thursday 9th July 2020 to run through the welcoming role.

Please see below the Parish Bulletin for the 15th Sunday of the year. Please note in particular times of weekday Masses and times when the church will be open for Exposition and private prayer.

Can the volunteers who still need to provide ID and references please pass these onto Fr Rose as soon as possible, and can all volunteers please give Fr Rose details of the days and times they are available? If you are currently thinking of volunteering there is still time to let Fr Rose know.

Further good news is that Fr Rose can now plan for weddings and funerals. More details will be announced on this website on how this will happen whilst maintaining safety by keeping to limited numbers.

Paperwork for further volunteers can be found after the bulletin.

Below this you will see the Corona Virus Risk Assessment that has been completed for our parish and submitted to the Diocese.

As you will see from the photos following the bulletin, Fr Rose has ensured that our church is ready with extra cleaning resources, signs, PPE for volunteers and a one-way system.

Fr Rose has also taken more photos to keep us up to date with how the church and the gardens are looking, showing the interior of the church, taken during cleaning, and some of the back garden in bloom, thanks going to some of the social distancing gardening team who have resumed their sterling work.
